Trulioo Receives Series D Funding at a Valuation of $1.75 billion
Identity verification provider Trulioo saw a pretty large series D round of $394 million drop this week. That’s a pretty large chunk of change and allegedly the largest for an identity verification provider. The identity verification market is growing and may well have seen an acceleration (Trulioo mentioned they had doubled their revenue in the last year) due to Covid-19 – with more demand for things like remote banking and credit applications – all being done remotely via a mobile device.
AKeyless Secrets Devops Provider Raises $14 million in a Series A
Akeyless.io this week announced a series A raise of $14 million. They focus on the devops secrets management problem with a unified vault technology. They sit in the relatively new field of workload identities, or identity for machine and process automation. European Cyber Investor Day 2021
The European Cyber Investor Day 2021 will be happening next week in sunny Portugal, and The Cyber Hut will be there to take briefings off several innovative startups in the cyber security and identity management space – alas remotely! The event provides a great foundation for investors to hear pitches from some of the most interesting cyber companies in Europe – ranging from vulnerability management, access control, distributed wallet technologies and signature systems. Looking forward to a great day of discussions.
